Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the SherehePass website, applications, organizer tools, ticketing services, scanner systems, and related platform features.
Important
Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, publishing an event, purchasing or receiving a ticket, using a scanner, accessing an organizer workspace, or otherwise using SherehePass, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you use SherehePass on behalf of a company, organization, venue, institution, or event organizer, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Do not use the platform where you do not accept these terms or are legally unable to enter into the agreement.
About SherehePass
SherehePass is an event discovery, ticketing, payment-confirmation, attendee-management, and admission-verification platform operated as a product of Nexora Creative Solutions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SherehePass is not the promoter, performer, venue operator, event producer, or owner of events listed by independent organizers.
Organizers remain responsible for the accuracy of their event information, the delivery of their event, attendee safety, regulatory approvals, refund rules, and compliance with applicable law.
For virtual and hybrid events, SherehePass provides the technical infrastructure to distribute, authenticate, and deliver live streams and replays, but does not guarantee the quality, stability, or continuity of the live video feed, which depends on the organizer's upload connection and the viewer's network connection.
Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or purchasing a ticket. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for protecting your password and access credentials.
Organizer accounts may include multiple team members with different permissions. Organizer owners are responsible for assigning appropriate access and removing access when a team member no longer requires it.
Notify SherehePass promptly where you suspect unauthorized access, credential theft, or misuse of your account.
Organizer obligations
Organizers agree to:
- Publish truthful and sufficiently detailed event information.
- Hold the permissions, licences, insurance, and approvals required for the event.
- Set lawful ticket prices, refund conditions, age restrictions, and admission rules.
- Honour valid tickets issued for their event.
- Maintain suitable event safety and customer support arrangements.
- Protect attendee information available in their organizer workspace.
- Avoid misleading promotions, artificial scarcity, or fraudulent event listings.
- For virtual and hybrid events, acquire all necessary broadcast rights, performance approvals, public performance licences, and music synchronization licences for all content streamed or distributed.
- Maintain a reliable internet connection at the broadcast site and configure streaming encoders within purchased package limits.
Ticket purchases
A ticket order is not complete merely because a checkout page has been submitted. A purchase is confirmed only after the relevant payment is successfully verified and a valid ticket is issued.
You must review the event name, date, venue, ticket category, quantity, price, fees, and organizer’s refund policy before paying.
Tickets may be delivered by email, made available through an account, or provided through another supported delivery method.
Payments and fees
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their own terms, verification procedures, security controls, and processing charges may apply.
SherehePass may charge organizers platform, transaction, subscription, implementation, or support fees according to the applicable pricing page or separate written agreement.
Prices and charges should be displayed in the stated currency. Bank, card, mobile-money, tax, foreign-exchange, or payment-provider charges may apply separately.
Cancellations, postponements, and refunds
Event cancellation, postponement, venue changes, programme changes, and ticket refunds are primarily governed by the organizer’s published policy and applicable consumer law.
SherehePass may facilitate refund requests and payment reversals but does not guarantee a refund where the organizer, payment provider, or applicable policy does not authorize one.
Refund timing may depend on the organizer, payment provider, banking system, and original payment method.
Ticket use and admission
A ticket may be used only in accordance with its stated conditions. A QR code, ticket code, or admission credential should not be copied, published, sold unlawfully, altered, or shared with unauthorized persons.
Admission may be refused where a ticket is invalid, cancelled, refunded, previously used, fraudulently obtained, altered, or presented in breach of event or venue rules.
Ticket transfer or resale is permitted only where supported by the organizer and the platform.
For tickets including virtual or hybrid access, the platform enforces concurrent device session limits (typically one active device session per ticket unless a specific tier states otherwise). Sharing ticket codes or watch links to bypass these limits is prohibited, and the platform reserves the right to terminate active sessions or revoke entitlements if sharing is detected.
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Access accounts, systems, or information without authorization.
- Upload malware or interfere with the platform’s operation.
- Create fraudulent events, orders, tickets, or payment records.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass platform security controls.
- Harass users or publish unlawful, deceptive, or infringing material.
- Use scanner credentials outside the event or permissions assigned to you.
Intellectual property
SherehePass software, interface design, trademarks, branding, documentation, and platform content are owned by or licensed to Nexora Creative Solutions.
Organizers retain rights in content they upload but grant SherehePass a limited licence to host, display, reproduce, resize, distribute, and promote that content for operating and marketing the event and platform.
Organizers must have the rights required to use all posters, images, recordings, logos, descriptions, and other uploaded material.
Platform availability
We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, internet failures, payment-provider outages, security incidents, third-party dependencies, and events beyond reasonable control may affect availability.
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, or business operations.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SherehePass is not responsible for an organizer’s cancellation, event quality, performer changes, venue conditions, attendee conduct, safety failures, or representations made independently by an organizer.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, the limitation will be applied reasonably in light of the service concerned and the amount paid for that service.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, security risk, unpaid fees, misuse of attendee data, repeated policy violations, or a legal requirement to act.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, payments, tickets, or platform systems.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith written communication.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court or other competent dispute-resolution body in Kenya, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect platform, legal, security, or commercial changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
Material changes may also be communicated through email, account notifications, or other appropriate means.
